Cluster at EUSDR Annual Forum Ulm

On 29 October 2015 the Danube Cultural Cluster successfully co-organised the workshop Danube Culture Platform at the 4th Annual Forum of the EUSDR in Ulm. In the framework of this presigious event several cultural players from all over the Danube region had the opportunity to exchange ideas about cultural strategies for the Danube region in the first, and about cultural best practices in the second panel of the workshop.

We are happy to report that some of the workshop participants represented member institutions of the Danube Cultural Cluster: Christian Glass, director of the Donauschwäbisches Zentralmuseum took part in the first round, while Vesna Latinovic, owner of the Bel Art Gallery Novi Sad, and Regina Hellwig-Schmid, initiator of the Donumenta Regensburg, strenghtened the second part. Márton Méhes, chair of the Cluster Association, presented the Donau Lounge project in the second discussion.

The workshop Danube Culture Platform was organised in close cooperation with PA 3 of the EUSDR, and was an accompanying event of the same-titled project that was submitted to the new Danube Transnational Programme of INTERREG.

Both the project application and the Annual Forum workshop were prepared by the same consortium of

- the Federal Chancellery of Austria - Culture and the Arts,

- the Ministry of Science, Reseach, and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg,

- the European Danube Academy, Ulm, and

- the Danube Cultural Cluster, Vienna.
